I am a specialist in gastroenterology. I have been performing gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures, such as gastroscopies and colonoscopies, for over 10 years. My expertise includes the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of gastrointestinal diseases. My particular areas of interest are inflammatory bowel diseases (ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease), liver diseases, as well as endoscopic procedures and interventions, such as polyp removal.
In my practice, I approach each patient as an individual, listen carefully, and thoroughly examine their situation. During endoscopic procedures, I always strive for the safest, most patient-friendly, smooth, and high-quality intervention possible.

Biography
My expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. My skills and interests in gastroenterology are broad, but the core aspects of my daily work focus on the diagnosis and treatment of intestinal and liver diseases. I enjoy performing endoscopic procedures and continuously strive to improve my skills. With a calm demeanor and good endoscopic technique, I aim to make an otherwise unpleasant procedure as comfortable and high-quality as possible for the patient.
I began performing endoscopic procedures in a health center, which sparked my desire to specialize in gastroenterology. During a year spent in clinical physiology, I became familiar with diagnostic methods for esophageal motility disorders and reflux disease.
I graduated as a specialist in gastroenterology in 2020 and have since worked as a specialist at Tampere University Hospital and Kanta-Häme Central Hospital. I joined Docrates in 2025.
I regularly participate in professional training and continuously develop my expertise. I always aim for clear and comprehensible communication, and the care I provide is based on up-to-date treatment guidelines.
